Macleod’s Scottish Pub: Reviews & Ratings
Classic fish and chips. Tasted and looked authentic. Loved the atmosphere as well. Very cozy and warm. A bit expensive tho. Nice to see they had a large selection pf scotches including the famed 25 year old Laphroaig that is like $750 a bottle. Service was nice and prompt - didnt have to wait too long, and found seating quickly.
Nice restaurant in a very lively area went with a friend for her birthday and got the Mule which was great and refreshing and the bangers and mash a dash of salt ans pepper was needed but after that it was perfect. My friend said rhe fish and chips were really good and perfectly breaded. We also shared a scotch egg which was fantastic. Didn't enjoy the beer we had a guiness tasted stale and a had a very weird after taste. Overall worth a visit!
Amazing fish and chips that came out fast and piping hot. Batter was perfect, crunchy and not oily and the tartar was some of the best I have had. The staff were friendly and attentive and the outdoor seating was perfect as it was raining a little. Been searching for a good fish and chips and this one ticked all the boxes
Macleod’s is a solid spot for whisky fans, especially those into Springbank — they’ve got one of the better selections in Seattle at some of the best prices around. The option to do 1/3 pours is a great touch, letting you explore a variety without going overboard. Highlights like Mortlach 25 for $30 a pour show just how fairly they price their rare offerings. The pub has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and feels like a place built with real appreciation for whisky. I’ve heard great things about the owner and am looking forward to stopping by when they’re around. All in all, a great place to spend an evening if you’re into good whisky and good company.
This place is the perfect spot for before or after dinner drinks - they serve food but I haven’t eaten there, I come for the cocktails and the thorough scotch whisky list. It’s a cozy pub with great bartenders.
Local Scottish themed pub with incredible selection of scotch and other whiskies and excellent scotch eggs. Chips aren’t REALLY proper UK chips but the curry sauce is so good it makes up for that!
We went in during happy hour and ordered, crispy cod cake. Not part of happy hour ordered fish (halibut) and chips, and scotch eggs. Enjoyed a Belhaven nitro. I highly recommend the halibut fish and chips!!!
Have wanted to try the fish n chips since I arrived 12 years ago- the fried halibut was easily the best I’ve had in years. Macleod’s also has unmatched interior design atmosphere among all bars in the metro area. Combine that with continuous great service and this place is a GEM
